So, I have a made the commitment to write a book in 100 days with Tom and his Write Practice team, (The One Hundred Day Book) and I thought that I would share my journey with others who might be interested in seeing the daily writing processes and what unfolds.
In honesty, this is not my first book. I began my writing journey from an absolutely cold start, other than being an avid reader all of my life. I had never written a book before, but had lots of ideas and was sure that I had a book in me!
In 2017 I began writing an historical fiction book – a book that became two and now three! The first two of these are now published, and the third is in its final stages of editing and is due for release later this year. You well see links to them below.
For four years now, have been an enormous learning curve for each of the processes for writing, publishing and marketing, much of which I will apply to my new book, and which I will share along the way. One thing that I have discovered is that the more books one has, the greater the opportunity to effectively and affordably market books, and so to reach more readers. Hence, the reason that I have subscribed to this challenge. I want to see if I can write a very good quality draft of a really great story in 100 days!!!
